— From a State Historical Society news release
I saw the September 5, 2010 State Flight History article and I too have a 1908 Stroebel Airship State Fair/Huron SD postcard. I have attached a copy of it and the back of the card with a letter from my Great Grandmother’s best friend, Louise to my Great Grandmother Myrtle Dorothy in Pierre SD. I thought is interesting in that I could not find much information about that flight. If you have any questions, please return e-mail. Thank you, Michele Scarberry.
