Roughlock Falls Nature area is located in the Spearfish Canyon which many consider to be one of the most beautiful and breathtaking locations in the Black Hills. It is a perfect location for those who enjoy nature and photography. Bird watching, wildlife viewing, fishing and picnicking can all be enjoyed at the Roughlock Falls Nature Area. There are many recent upgrades to Roughlock Falls that include an improved trail system, defined access points, improved parking, new bridges and updated picnic/toilet areas.

• Open year-round, day use only. Access is extremely limited in the winter.
