• For a scenic, relaxing ride along the Missouri River, look no further than the Yankton Biking Trail. Smoothly paved and well-maintained, the 10-mile trail connects the city of Yankton to the tourist-frequented Lewis and Clark Recreation Area. During the ride, you’ll enjoy picturesque views of the water and will traverse residential areas and open fields.
• The Paddlewheel Point Trail originates at the town’s 4^th Street visitor center and continues on to its namesake, providing glimpses of a variety of native plant life along the way.
• Named after famous local Tom Brokaw, the Auld-Brokaw Trail bisects the middle of the town, passing by scenic city parks, nature areas, and local schools. The Rotary Nature Area is locally known for its outdoor classroom. Several resting spots are provided along the way.
