Zombie Prom Happening This Weekend

If you’re looking for something a little unusual to do with your Halloween weekend, you might want to make plans to head to Sioux Falls for the annual Zombiewalk and Zombie Prom.

The Zombiewalk starts at 5 PM, when zombies meet at Skelly’s pub, descend on downtown Sioux Falls, and walk the streets until 6 PM, when the undead return to Skelly’s for the evening event, the Zombie Prom.  The living dead of all ages are welcome at the Zombie Prom until 10 PM, when the event becomes a 21 and older party.  Bands are featured throughout the night, and proceeds from the $5 cover charge go to the Sioux Falls Roller Dollz’ travel fund.  The Roller Dollz are Sioux Falls’ local roller derby group, and its largest zombie contingent on Halloween.

Kerry Roberts organizes the Zombie Walk and Zombie Prom, who has been organizing it for the past for years.  For more information, check out the Argus Leader’s coverage of the event.
