South Dakota has some great zoological exhibits in both the eastern and western parts of the state. There are a handful of zoos that each offer their own unique animals.

The Great Plains Zoo and Delbridge Museum, in Sioux Falls, features over 850 animals from all over the world.  A children’s zoo for the little ones gives them a chance to get up close and personal with some of the animals.

Watertown also features a zoo, the Bramble Park Zoo.  This Watertown attraction features over 500 varities of animals, including some native South Dakota species.  A children’s petting zoo and naturalistic dioramas are sure to entice your whole family with this outdoor attraction.

South Dakota also have various other animal parks and attractions throughout the state, in addition to these outstanding zoos.
